Aonach Eagach. Head to the north of Glen Coe, Aonach Eagach is a rocky ridge overlooking the 'Devil's Staircase'. With steep slopes on either side, it's a popular site for 'scrambling', a technique of walking up steep hills using your hands. It's now seen as the country's most difficult scrambling location.

The ridge starts with an ascent of Am Bodach, with a few small rocky sections to help you get used to the rock and moving efficiently on steeper ground. At the summit we continue west, descend 'The Chancellor', the first technical section to the Munro of Meal Dearg. From there it is the start of the infamous pinnacles in the middle section.
